Rev. Blankenship Accepts Call to Jefferson City

Rev. Jake and Becky Blankenship have accepted the call to the Jefferson City Church of the Nazarene. They have been serving in Iowa since leaving the Missouri District and the Kirksville Church. Their first Sunday at Jefferson City will be September 14th. Welcome back!

2008 Missouri District Ordination Class

Dr. Jesse Middendorf, General Superintendent Church of the Nazarene (far right), ordained thee new elders and recognized the credentials of one other elder in a very moving service on the closing day of the 2008 Missouri District Assembly, Wednesday, August 13, 2008. Ordained were (L to R) Rev. Greg McClain (Sara), Rev. Cheri Griggs (Steve), and Rev. Noel Nelson (Judy). Rev. Jin Sick Kang (Sung Sook) also had his credentials recognized from another denomination. Earlier during the assembly, Missouri District Superintendent, Rev. Micheal G. Palmer (far left), was also elected to another four-year term.

Rev. Bob Wells Accepts Call to Brookfield

Rev. Bob and Becky Wells have accepted the call to the Brookfield church. The Wells are moving there from Wichita, KS. Rev. Wells grew up in the Macon area and have grown twin daughters that live in Macon and Moberly. Their first Sunday there was August 3, 2008.

Rev. Art Menard Accepts Call to Mexico

Rev. Art and Tanja Menard have accepted the call to the Mexico church. They are coming to the Missouri District from Prescott, AR. Their ministry there will begin the end of August. We look forward to having them on the district!
