Rev. Gerald Beam Passes Away

Rev. Gerald Beam, ordained elder on the Missouri District, passed away this morning (Wednesday) about 3:00 AM. He had been receiving treatment for a brain tumor. He is survived by his wife, Carol, and their four daughters. Rev. Beam was ordained here on the Missouri District in 1972 and retired from the Navy as a chaplain in 1990. Rev. Beam's visitation will be Sunday, January 13, 2008, from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home (125 W. Stoddard Street, Dexter, MO 63841 ~ 573.624.4533). The funeral will be Monday, January 14, 2008 @ 10:00am at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at the veteran's cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.

Roevers Accepts Call To Frankclay

Jeff and Monica Roever have accepted the call to the Frankclay Church of the Nazarene. Their first Sunday there will be February 3rd. Jeff has been the youth pastor at the Wright City Church of the Nazarene since 2004.
