St. Louis Brige of Hope Church Planted

Rev. Shawen Farley, Pastor of the new St. Louis Bridge of Hope Church of the Nazarene, a New Start Church, writes, "The LORD has opened the doors that we thought were previously closed. We will be holding our services in a coffee shop right on The Loop. If you don’t already know, THE LOOP is a highly diverse area on Delmar Blvd. The LOOP is primarily located in University City, but has been spreading Eastward into the St. Louis City Limits. This is the exact area that where we have desired to begin our ministry and the LORD is now fulfilling that desire. This past Wednesday, August 8, 2007, at the Annual District Assembly of our Missouri District Church of the Nazarene, BRIDGE OF HOPE CHURCH was officially kicked off by our District and General Superintendents. Pastor and New Start Coordinator, Mark Hager, shared the vision of starting new churches with the delegation and presented us as the most recent New Start Church. We were surrounded by our District Pastors and Delegates and were supported in prayer. Now, that it’s official, we began holding services last Sunday, August 19, 2007.

Here’s the particulars: BRIDGE of HOPE CHURCH meeting at COFFEE on the LOOP 6016 Delmar Blvd.St. Louis, MO 63112.
