SPA Girls To Speak at 2007 Women's Retreat

Missouri District Women's Ministry Director, Tami Thompson, has announced that the SPA Girls will be the featured speakers at this year's Ladies retreat. The SPA Girls are two moms with teens who show women how to barricade themselves in the bathroom and have a quiet moment with God while deep-conditioning their hair. They chose the name "S.P.A." because their ministry focuses on sharing "Spiritual, practical and amusing ways to live the godly life" (website). The music will be led by Beth King. The date of this year's retreat is September 14-15 and will be held again at Pinecrest. More details will be soon added to the district website.

New Pastor at Caruthersville

Rev. Dave and Barb Perkins have settled into the parsonage at Caruthersville and are enjoying their new ministry there. Their daughter, Danielle, who just graduated from high school, also moved here with her parents. The Perkins moved here from Texas. Welcome!
