Special Prayer Needed for Adele Storkson

Adele Storkson (Pastor’s Wife, Montgomery City) has had emergency surgery in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was on a trip when, due to extreme abdominal pain, she had to be removed from the plane and taken to a hospital. Brother Sam has specifically asked that the district pray that Adele will be able to get some good sleep at night. She will have to stay there in Salt Lake City until at least January 31st.

The Montgomery City church has made it possible for Brother Sam to leave today (Friday) for St. Lake City to be with her. Thank you for your prayers on her behalf.

Update - Monday, February 2, 2009: "I am happy to report that Adele is home as of 10 pm Sunday night, February 1st ... She is still experiencing quite a bit of pain, and, of course, a sense of uncertainty about the future. Please DO continue to pray for Adele’s restoration to health and wholeness. We DO thank the district ministers and lay people for their prayers and loving kindnesses in remembering my wife before GOD.
