Annapolis Praise Report

Pastor Howard Casteel (Pastor, Annapolis Church of the Nazarene) wanted to praise God for a wonderful event that occurred with his people this past week. He writes, "Last Sunday, April 22nd at 5:57 pm we were getting ready for evening service and I received a phone call from one of our couples, Nellie and Carl Scaggs. Carl has been going through chemotherapy for his cancer treatment, but is on the mend. Carl wanted to see me right away. I announced to the congregation that I needed to go, but that they should go ahead with the service. When I arrived at the residence, Carl told me that he wanted to receive Jesus into his heart. Nellie is already a Christian and a member of our church and Carl has attended with Nellie, faithfully, for many, many years. So I prayed with Carl and he did receive Jesus. I returned to the church around 6:20 pm, and our people had been praying and praising God. The service continued with much shouting and healing when I shared with our people what had happened. We are so thankful for God's work in our church and with our people. He is so faithful!"
